Dragon Ball Super fans can rejoice: It doesn’t look like the new Future Trunks saga is going to end anytime soon. Sources from around the internet have posted that there was a leak of the future titles for episodes 52 through 53, and the titles reveal a little bit more about the plot of the current story arc.
According to Gojiitaaf’s post on Facebook, the title for DBS’ episode 53 will be “Expose it! Black's True Identity”, which lends more fuel to the speculation that Goku Black is nothing more than just an impostor using Son Goku’s body.
The latest episode, entitled “Missing Mai Across Time”, delved deep into the relationship of Future Trunks and Future Mai—how they met, how they fought against Black, and how their relationship developed.
It also hinted on the possibility that Beerus and Whis might know something more about Black, due to the aura of his ki being somewhat familiar to the both of them.
As for episode 52—which has been entitled “Master and Pupil Reunion: Son Gohan and Future Trunks”—Gohan and his future protegé take front and center stage. This will be a refreshing change of pace for the show, as it has mostly centered on Son Goku and Vegeta, neglecting some of the other central characters of the series.
It also looks as if the green-skinned Kaioshin that has been featured prominently in the updated opening billboard of the show. Word has been circulating that this Kaioshin is named Zamasu, and he could be an ex-Kaioshin that had been exiled by the Lord of Everything.
However, his connection to Goku Black remains to be a mystery.
